Week 3: Those Crazy Kids...

5th Class Learned about controlling their tongues this week...

Another week down!   This week, the visit to the first children's home was really good.   Rather than even attempting lots of games, I was kinda left in a lurch to hang out.  This lead to a little English practice, some more Ninja, and lots of little conversations, many of which had to do with my manly beard.  :)

English tutoring got bogged down a little, but we're going for round 2 in another hour here.

Big news, I was offered to continue my position next fall.  Pray?  Because I could be working with orphans full-time by then, although no one would be paying me to do that per sé and I'd have to figure out a visa somehow.  Not big obstacles, but I like teaching and God's using me there as well, and they're open to having me work 3 days a week or something similar...so...I don't know.

Sunrise out the school window...

Guitar has dwindled to three students...I was thinking about chewing out some people for scheduling football at the same time...but...three students is kinda nice sometimes, and if their mothers are okay with buying them guitars they don't use...well, c'est la vié...

Still not being very successful at getting my kids to do homework.  It takes SO much energy to simultaneously constantly retool courses as a whole while planning out daily lessons.  Meh.

Yesterday it was foggy...
Highlights of the work week:

+10th Class made business proposals, including one restaurant serving cockroaches and other exotic foods.
+7th Class was SO excited to be making a video about their favorite place in Bishkek, that I rearranged the homework so they could do it ASAP.
+6th Class got to meet Squeaky as I told them about my two day trips to Canada as listening practice.

Onward!  Peace.
