Monday was hard...I realized I was leaving soon and all that required...consequently I did a bad job being here. But I did have some fun playing the three round game and had some good conversations. Also, I realized I had lots to prepare for this week and that I was going to miss a lot of the students. :( One night we just were hanging out and they asked me to start singing worship songs that we'd been doing at Soul Outpost...Prince of Peace is the favorite...and a lot of these peeps just feel like family.
Today was good, I'm putting together a worship and prayer service for tomorrow night, so pray for that. We're preparing songs in FOUR languages. Pray for the students to open their hearts and that God would show up, not just in the service, but also in the daily conversations and run-ins. I'm also leading a discussion group on the topic of relationship with God on Thursday. One student has said they're planning on going back to church this next week! So God's moving here...although Lithuanians tend to take their time and think things through. Pray that God would make himself known through and around us. At Soul Outpost on Thursday we're gonna have bibles available to students who want them. Pray over that as well.
Also at Soul Outpost today heard an awesome testimony from a brother from Cameroun who's here at LCC studying in faith that God will provide the way for him. He became a Christian when after college he was stuck jobless and the only book in his sister's house was the bible. :) It's really cool to see all these testimonies. Heard also from a Pastor who heard a voice from God one day "you've smoked your last cigarette" after struggling to quit for some 15+ years. Makes me think I should more earnestly seek God in all my struggles and pains and daily stuff...oh man...morning prayer makes so much of a difference in my days here... I've realized since I've been here I've been keeping God out of some parts of my life. And that's just no good.
