Normal Life??

Today in guitar class we played Alabaré, You are My Sunshine, He's Got the Whole World, and one Russian song.  :)  And my two fifth class guys who came did good!  We talked about adultery in Seventh class...they were squirmy, but mature.  I always feel like I'm not doing these topics justice, always after class I think, "Oh, I should've have said that, that would've been clever or important."

I got type cast as Jesus again.  That'll be Sunday.  Unfortunately this happened right before someone else asked me to visit an orphanage.  :/  Sat through a really long youth leaders meeting that I didn't really understand, because I haven't been to youth yet, and because three people talking at once

I went comparison shopping for a guitar tuner...the thing about shopping in Bishkek...shopping around is easy...because there's usually 5 or 6 stalls that have the same products in the same area.  Although, I only found two music stores.  Tsum is a six story mall in the middle of downtown where one of them is located.  I thought my student's obsession with new cell phones was just them, but turns out, the whole first floor of Tsum is cell phone accessories and such.  Like probably 60 little shops.  The other interesting thing about Tsum is that the shops are little glass cubes on an open floor, packed in super tight, like grocery store aisles or more like what you'd expect at a state fair.  Except more close together.

On Tuesday I met ten students at another school, where I'll be doing an English club.  They were super-stoked for me to be there, and seemed to be more interested in having an adult that would share life with them then learning English.  (although their speaking skills are pretty good)  So, I think I'm definitely gonna try to have them over for Thanksgiving at least, maybe try something else before that.  *shrug*

Unfortunately, we have to move.  The landlords decided to move back.  So...Nov 1st we'll be in a new place somewhere it looks like.  Hopefully nearby.  First week of Nov is also a break where I hope to go on a little vision trip either to the South or East.

Got a good start on my yearlong lesson plans that are supposed to (hahahaha) be done by tomorrow.

I've got the September update done, just need to finish a few details on the second trimester financials.  Unfortunately, my computer has a bug and since we just reloaded XP, we're gonna do it again.  So hopefully this weekend we'll get that to ya'll.

Tomorrow is teacher's day.  Hopefully I'll get some great pictures for you, as they've tasked me as the photographer.  :)

Peace.
