Refuge Ranch!!!

I've started week three of six months here at Refuge Ranch in Cuecuecuatitla, Mexico. It's so beautiful here! The hills are covered in yellow and purple flowers, and it's November! The volcano is lightly dusted in snow after a thunderstorm last week.

I'm living with a family that has 18 kids, most of whom they've taken in from somewhere else. The Zaragozas are my heroes, there is so much love and faith in this place. Victor also heads up Medical Missions teams, and I'll be leading worship for them come the end of the month, and maybe doing some children's outreach.

Today I taught my first English class. It was amazing!!! The kids were respectful, and we did a pretty solid review, and I introduced a lot of things, and they had fun. :) (Defs showed them the "What's Taters Precious" video)

I'm also teaching 20+ individual weekly lessons in guitar or piano. This is a real cool opportunity to encourage the kids, get to know them, pray for them, and give them some cool skills. Pray that I would see it for the awesome opportunity it is, and that I would put in more time to prepare!
