What do you when your authorities don't listen? We tried a petition, got over a third of the community to sign it. I don't know what to do now except let things go.
What do you do when you are the authority, and someone else wants to do something that's not best? (What not to do: give in, because now my convictions will mean I have to backpedal)
What do you do when no one's taking the lead, so you step in to help with someone else's thing, but then the person who's leading is doing something you think is wrong? (What not to do: give in, and say "it's your event" because you should stick by your convictions. Luckily the relevant authorities were there and stepped in.)
I had to spend more time talking with staff than with students today.
And these are the reasons I didn't like today.
Praying for you, brother!
ReplyDeleteI edited this. I was venting, and it may have seemed against specific other people, and that's not what I wanted to do. It's really hard to process what's going on when so much is happening, and I did hope to make you think with this post, but I think my frustration was blocking that before.
