Summer Journal: Day 6

Today was nice and more relaxed.  Finally getting past the rush of things to do, and getting to enjoy conversations and games.  Crossroads went well today, talked about parents, and Soul Outpost went really well, although it was much more sparsely attended.  Rainy day.  Took a few students to a folk festival after crossroads, it was fun, there was a bluegrass band from Tennessee there.  Starting to connect more deeply with students, starting to get to know some of the musicians and other people through games.  Best English mistake so far:  one of the female asked me if she could "take my hand" instead when she was trying to "lend a hand"...we won't tell her though.  :)
