So yesterday I got the blog caught up, spent two hours with a group of students practicing for the talent show, made announcements at the weekly staff potluck, played an intense match of LCC Staff/Students vs SLI students in Football, and then took a group of students (ok, so they took me really, but I made it official) to see the Dark Knight Rises.
Our talent show team has a special bond, and we've definitely made some community between this group and the group who went to the movie last night. I think these are the students I'll be chatting with over the next year or two.
*Yawns* Walking back across town from the movie plus full-on soccer right after eating after two hours of singing...I'm tired
