Monday Monday. Today was a pretty crazy day. At 7:30am I got up to set up sound for the opening ceremonies. That was pretty fun, played numerous national anthems and some fun songs. Even gave the director some Darth Vader music. :) (She's not evil, but it gave her a serious tone)
After that, I prepared some song sheets and advertisements for some of our events, then took a nap and prayed for a bit. I interviewed Liliya, one of our RAs, about her testimony, it was pretty powerful and intense. She's Latvian-American, so she's got a pretty unique perspective, and it was cool to hear how God was pursuing her even through things like losing the perfect guy to a heart condition.
Then Josh and Amelia I practiced music for Soul Outpost. At 6pm I had to present what Spiritual life is doing to the teachers...which was intense, I kinda got in trouble for misspeaking and offending some people last year. But it went fine. After that we had our first TEA AND GAMES, which was very well attended. We played Pit and then Signs, which I played all the way until the RDs closed the lounge. It took a while for everyone to understand it, but once we got going, it was great. :)
I'm pretty excited, the year seems to be going really well.
